Overview
The 66VT YZ23B Synoptophore is a binocular vision diagnostic and training instrument used in ophthalmology and optometry. It evaluates and treats simultaneous perception, fusion and stereopsis, and supports red-flash and after-image procedures. The optical observation system uses a half-silvered mirror so the examiner can watch the patient's eye position and corneal reflection through the same line of sight. Each tube rotates independently in horizontal (±40°) and vertical (up 15° / down 20°) directions, with 20° cyclotorsion each way, covering the full clinical range of binocular assessment.
